OUTREMONDE is a series of living exhibitions initiated by French artist Théo Mercier in 2021. Created as a team and in the manner of an site-specific ecosystem, OUTREMONDE is also a set of architectural pieces that interrogate space through sculptures made only of water, sand, sound and light. "The Sleeping Chapter" is the third iteration of this series: presented at the Conciergerie in Paris, this chapter digs into the thickness of dreams and sleep in our contemporary cities. Sliding from the deserted landscape to the living landscape, a performance guided by an omniscient child will be presented in the exhibition space from December 3 to 11, 2022 as part of the Festival d'Automne à Paris and the New Settings program of the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès.
